In the book, Purdy shares a new perspective regarding humanity's purpose on Earth as it relates to faith and Jesus. Just as we count on salt to be salt, Purdy says every person is called to stand fast and be accountable to do what is right. "Where's the Salt?" examines the concept of salt, as described in the Sermon on the Mount within Christian faith and society, offering commentary on current events.
"Choosing to embrace living a salty life means to live with one's heart toward God and to be available at all times in all places," said Purdy. "If one chooses not to be salty, he has already chosen not to be a light and truth in this world."
Readers will be exposed to Purdy's insights and inspiration for day-to-day experiences and outlooks of believes as he applies salt as the main foundation.
