Lyn Traill spent a large portion of her life suffering from physical and emotional abuse - that is, until she found her voice and fought back.
Having emerged from a childhood marked by violence and abuse, Lyn Traill has found her true self and wants to help others do the same. With her new book, Sizzling at Seventy: Victim to Victorious, she recounts her struggles and hopes that she can inspire others to break the bonds of victimization and become a victor.
"Having passed from victimhood and become a survivor has brought me such joy and purpose," says Traill. "I am passionate about sharing my story with others and pass on the power I was given to be able to emerge victorious from the darkest parts of my life."
Using a combination of personal experience and the teaching of ontology, the study of being human, she offers readers a way to untangle and improve their lives by clearing out the negative to make room for the positive.
"I tried many avenues toward healing and each one brought me closer to finding my true self," says Traill. "However, it was the study of ontology that finally made the intangible tangible and gave me a structure that changed my life."
Traill wants to emphasize that life does not end after 40. She encourages readers to continue self-improvement, no matter how old you are.
"There are ways to escape victimhood at any age. We are never too old to strive to become our best selves," says Traill.
