Award-winning author Lois Joy Hofmann continues her Spring Author Tour with a presentation and book signing at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe, Arizona on Saturday, April 27 at 7 p.m. Hofmann will also be at Upstart Crow Bookstore and Coffee House in Seaport Village in San Diego on Thursday, May 2 at 7 p.m., and at the Point Loma West Marine store at 1250 Rosecrans Street on Friday, May 10 from 2 - 4 p.m. Hofmann's presentation, Come Away with us to the Islands, is a South Pacific-themed multimedia presentation that includes dancing, lifestyle on board a cruising catamaran, and beautiful slides of the South Pacific.

Hofmann recently released her second book, Sailing the South Pacific, the captivating follow-up to the award-winning Maiden Voyage, recipient of a 2011 San Diego Book Award. The books are part of the nautical trilogy In Search of Adventure and Moments of Bliss that portrays the 8-year, 62-country sailing circumnavigation that Lois and her husband Günter undertook after turning 60 years old.

Lois Joy Hofmann lived atop the corporate ladder as a CEO of a publicly traded biomedical company. Hofmann and her husband Günter then escaped the corporate world for a life on the high seas, embarking on a sailing trip that would change their lives forever. After sailing the world, Hofmann began to write her nautical trilogy, In Search of Adventure and Moments of Bliss. Her first two books, Maiden Voyage and Sailing the South Pacific, are available on Amazon at: http://amzn.com/0984091343 and locally in San Diego at Seabreeze Books, Traveler's Depot, and Upstart Crow Bookstore and Coffee House.

Earlier this month, Hofmann spoke at the San Diego Public Library, Pacific Beach Branch, and also exhibited at Strictly Sail Pacific in Oakland, CA. Hofmann is available for speaking engagements and book signing events at yacht clubs and other organizations. Lois Joy Hofmann resides in San Diego, California, and Balsam Lake, Wisconsin with her husband Günter. The couple continues to travel the world.
