Justin Luke Zirilli's The Gay Gospel is coming out in paperback on November 18. It's the first of its kind: a guidebook written specifically for gay 20somethings that tackles everything from sex to dating to breaking up to family to personal finance and more. Justin is one of NYC's leading gay promoters and throws the city's three largest weekly gay dance parties with his nightlife company, BoiParty. He draws from his personal experience (as someone who recently exited his own tumultuous 20s), his observations from under the lights of his party's dance floors and the countless requests for personal advice that he receives from party guests & friends alike. A quick, easy, fun read with no-nonsense and sometimes hysterical nuggets of wisdom and advice, The Gay Gospel is a bible for young gay men confusedly wading into adulthood.

About the Book

Once you face rejection once it won't seem that awful the next time.

If you don't accept and own your sexual fetishes, you'll never get what you want.

Do NOT be that wasted guy your friends have to babysit at the club.

Bickering fights with your partner is usually healthy and normal, not a sign that you need to break up.

In The Gay Gospel, Justin Luke Zirilli, one of New York's leading gay promoters, lays out these and other no-nonsense nuggets of advice for gay 20somethings struggling to survive this fragile, wild, unpredictable and psychotic decade. After witnessing young men live out their confusion under the flashing lights of his massive gay dance parties in NYC on a weekly basis and being taken aside countless times for personal advice, Zirilli decided to dispense the invaluable wisdom he has amassed over the years into one quick, easy guidebook. He tackles everything from sex to dating to looking to breaking up to partying to financial budgeting and everything in between.

The Gay Gospel is just that: a bible that should be read - and read again and again - by young gay men hungry for guidance as they trip into adulthood and straight toward adventure, love, triumph, heartbreak and inevitable mistakes. Justin is the big brother that everyone needs and, like a good big brother, he delivers his advice with cutting humor and a massive, palpable dose of empathy.
