What if the key to true happiness was within our reach all along?
With her new collection of stories of encouragement and hope for women of all ages, Dearest Samantha: I Love You!!!! author Heather Smith penetrates the walls of steel that encompass us. After weathering many storms over the course of her life, including losing her husband and home through divorce, Smith found solace in the love and devotion that God has for each of His children.
Written from her own personal experiences, the stories explore the full spectrum of human emotion and the promise of a fulfilled, joyful future. Through the book's message, Smith hopes to remind readers that life is difficult and there will be challenges. However, through the heartache, despair and struggle, there is a silver lining in God's love and His involvement in our daily lives.
"After experiencing some of the greatest challenges of my life, I chose to spend time in a little house in the woods and found God there waiting for me," says Smith. "During this time of separation from the world, He taught me what true love is."
Taking the reader through the full gamut of human emotion, Smith shares stories of deepest despair and unspeakable joy, while weaving in the promise of hope for the future.
"Everyone must face a wide range of challenges and difficulties throughout their life," says Smith. "Even in our darkest moments, God is deeply concerned about our welfare and wants to be involved in the most intimate portions of our lives."
Having gotten a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in social work, Smith has worked with women from all backgrounds and walks of life. It is her hope that all women such as these can be lifted up and inspired by her stories.
