An article recently posted by Fox news featured how studies show that middle-aged men are more likely to commit suicide. This is due to feelings of lost identity and masculine pride. In line with this, author Freddy P. shares "A Campground Closed," his collection of inspiring and compelling poems that shows his journey through middle life, as well as the challenges that "Baby Boomers" encounter today.

From expressing longings of sensual desire in the piece "Dream Lover", to the whimsical look at the past and the future in "Pausing Before Getting Older...", and all the way to discovering one's inner youth in the piece "The Child In Me," this must-read depicts a versatile set of life experiences.

A moving trilogy of redemption, acceptance and possibilities, this literary work inspires, as well as entertains readers. Showing that middle life is not only about crisis, fears and burdens, "A Campground Closed" reminds readers that they can still be dramatic, artistic, creative, funny and hopeful at this juncture of their lives. Remarkable, this literary masterpiece is indeed a perfect gift to all those who want to explore what middle life is really all about and the many wonderful fragments of wisdom that it can offer them.

This book will be featured at the New York Library Association Book Exhibit in Niagara Falls, N.Y. on September 25 - 28, 2013.
