Author Bernadette Reynolds blends poetry, short stories and affirmations to create her inspirational new book, "Dance to Your Own Tune: Go Within and Change Your Life" (published by Balboa Press AU).
"There are many facets to my book; it will appeal to people who are looking for answers from within, and who ultimately are ready to relate to the experiences and awakening I have shared," Reynolds says.
Reynolds narrates her life story through the different writing forms in her book. She tells about her battles with low self-esteem, anorexia, bulimia and alcohol abuse. She explains how she started to turn her life around through introspection.
"Dance to Your Own Tune" is designed for people on the go. It can be picked up and opened to any story. All of the pieces within are designed to be stand-alone and uplifting to the reader. Reynolds hopes that all who open the book will come to realize that real change starts within themselves.
An excerpt from one of the poems within "Dance to Your Own Tune":
