BALTIMORE

In his new book, "In Defense of Jesus" (published by LifeRich Publishing), author Joseph Ellis Jr., candidly discusses the spirit world with readers and how they can lead a happier life by listening to good spirits, such as Jesus Christ.

Ellis believes there are spirits all around, both good and evil. It is up to each person to determine which type of spirit he or she will listen to and follow. Ellis explains that by listening and observing, readers will be able to determine one spirit from the other and trust in the good spirits to protect them.

"Jesus is a spirit, and unless you let him take control of your life, you will never know real happiness," says Ellis. "This book is the key."

Ellis' goal for the book is to teach people about the afterlife. He hopes his writings will alleviate common fears about death and dying and lead to a better, fuller life.

And excerpt from "In Defense of Jesus":

"When the son of man shall come in his glory, and all the angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. And before him shall he gather all nations. And he shall separate them one from another as a shepherd divide his sheep from the goats."
