Author Creates Coloring, Affirmations Book for All Ages Image Creating a festive vehicle for affirmations and empowerment, Christina Brittain releases her new book, “The Comfort Coloring Book” (published by Balboa Press). The book combines line art for coloring, with poetic advice to uplift readers and let them know they are loved.

Brittain intends the book to be one with which readers sit down alone, relax and meditate on the positive messages to restore their peace of mind. Or, the pictures can be colored with friends for shared fun and uplifting conversation. She also hopes the book will help parents show their children a world with more kindness and love.

Brittain invites readers to open the pages, take out their crayons, and color their way back to the truth that they are good, loved and standing in a friendly universe.

An excerpt from “The Comfort Coloring Book”:
This book loves you. It adores you. It’s so happy to tell you that. It’s gazing up at you, moved by how completely special you are. It’s beaming warmth, hugs and smiles at you right now. Every page in this book is celebrating you. Each drawing asked to be included so it could remind you how extraordinary you are. Without trying, just by being you, you make everything better. You matter. You contribute. You add more awesome to the universe. It’s true.
