Author Allan J. Magrath Teams Up With Illustrator Mike Nesbitt in New Children's Book

Allan J. Magrath's new children's book, "Imagine Zoo" (published by Trafford Publishing), transports young readers into an imaginary world of dancing zebras and guitar-strumming tigers.

In "Imagine Zoo," the animals are not only the star attractions; they are also the hosts, service staff, entertainment staff and babysitters all rolled into one. This zoo is of the animals, by the animals, but for the children!

Children are well looked after by monkeys dressed in aprons and by lions who serve Gatorade. Little ones are kept occupied by buffalo parades and bears that skip rope.

The book will not only help with enhancing a child's imagination, but also has educational value as children are exposed to a plethora of animal names in fun ways, such as the ice-cream-licking muskrat and the hopscotch-playing orangutan.

Illustrations by Mike Nesbitt bring alive this child's paradise with color and imaginative animal expressions. The happy faces of the children in the story are sure to be mirrored by the children reading the book, as they read how a bunch of animals in the zoo play host to a high-energy group of kids.
