Athanatos Christian Ministries is pleased to announce the winners in the 2013 Christian Novel Contest.
"Seed of Doubt" won top honors for author Robert Milton. A poet at heart, and influenced by the writings of Stephen Crane and C.S. Lewis, Robert Milton sheds light on the struggles of man in his debut novel, Seed of Doubt. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, he graduated from Trevecca Nazarene University with a degree in Science and a minor in Psychology.
His poetry book, The Gray in Between, was self-published in 2006. Since then, he's written two novels and is currently working on his third. Robert works for The Salvation Army, where he raises money for numerous Salvation Army ministries and programs, including addiction rehabilitation, homeless shelters, food and clothing banks, and human trafficking rescue efforts. Robert and his wife, Lorrie Beth, currently reside in Birmingham, Alabama with their two dogs, Joey and Cooper.
Saint Paul, Minnesota native, Joseph Robert Courtemanche, took second place with his story "Assault on Saint Agnes".
