Ashley Tose is very familiar with racism and its effects having experienced it over the years in her hometown Jackson, Ms. At age 16, her experiences lead her to believe work still needed to be done in America if society ever wants to achieve a post-racial America.

Her new book "I Hate White America, discusses injustices and race relations but not limited to corruption, the ideology of the "American Dream", and Black on Black crime.

"America is intentionally ignoring and avoiding the problems of racial inequality altogether; current events give obvious evidence that a change has to be made," Tose said. "We are all God's children and must be treated as such."

Tose begins her argument by offering a snapshot of history beginning in the late 15th century during a time she believes the issue of race was not as complicated as the 21st century.

Throughout "I Hate White America," Tose examines various elements that contribute to the problems with current society while challenging traditional teachings. It is her hope that readers view her book as an eye opener and understand that good can come from the bad.
