REISTERSTOWN, Md.

Being a product of several cultures and having lived in four different continents, Asher Elkayam became curious about world events. He has never contented himself on just the local or national news. His thirst for knowledge about important facts in this fast-paced world prompted him to write "One Thousand Questions and Answers on Jewels of Knowledge and Trivia" (published by Xlibris).

Divided into 10 chapters, this book includes 1,000 questions and answers on 10 different topics that include important subjects intended to help readers use their memory in order to retrieve information on subjects they know such as history, geography, religion, science and more. Trivia and curiosity questions are also included. The questions represent the first part of the book. The second part of the book includes the answers.

"In this book, no one is required to gamble or play for money," Elkayam says. "No one is required to "pull that hair" in order to find answers that may not always be so important or indispensable for everyone in real life. It is intended to entertain and to enrich knowledge."

Elkayam points out that the questions and statements given in "One Thousand Questions and Answers on Jewels of Knowledge and Trivia" are of public domain and are not questions or statements uniquely or specifically made by any educational institution.
