Preparation has begun to gather some of the state's best women writers and entrepreneurs for a panel discussion. Ladies of Literature and Their Stories will bring together authors from a myriad of backgrounds, writing a myriad of genres and struggling with a myriad of adversities.
One of these talented and strong ladies is Barnard College, Columbia University and Women's Medical College of Pennsylvania graduate and author Judy Salz M.D.
She Completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx, then completed a fellowship in adolescent medicine at Children's Hospital of Los Angeles. Judy also practiced internal medicine as a partner with the Southern California Permanente Medical group from 1972-2001. Although partially retired she stays involved with clinical research.
Adding to her list of activities and creative endeavors Judy has become an accomplished author earning herself an International Book Award Finalist nomination. Her novel, Worthy has gained rave reviews, and she will be sharing a bit about the book at this event. And with all her accomplishments Judy struggles with self-esteem issues, which she will also discuss.
Judy Salz, M.D. will be one of nine unique and talented women authors coming together at the Paseo Verde Library, Henderson, NV. on July 28, 2018.
Other notable authors presenting will be Judy Shine Logan, Renee' Jean, Lori Piotrowski,
Nancy Nelson,
Susan Johnson, Cynthia De Boer along with event organizers Vicki-Ann Bush and Linda Stiles Fox.
The panel discussion will begin at 10:00 am. Those interested are advised to arrive early to get the best seats for this one-of-a-kind presentation.
