Poker, the ultimate card game that integrates strategy and luck, requires a complete understanding for one to be in command of the game. Author Arizona Don offers a brief but detailed book that delves into the essentials and the winning tactics of the game. In his debut book, A Professional Perspective on Hold'em Poker, he leaves no stone unturned to reveal the indispensable stratagems of Hold'em Poker.

Hold'em Poker is fast becoming the most popular gambling game in the world, gaining world wide popularity through its easy-to-follow rules. Normally played by two to 10 players, it consists of up to four betting rounds. Each player receives two private cards (normally referred to as hole cards or pocket cards) while five cards are revealed and placed on the table. After the final betting round is complete the players remaining in the hand may have to show their cards. The highest ranking five-card-any combination of the two private and the five public cards-wins the pot. Millions of dollars change hands every day, 24-7, 365 days a year. Some players are able to take advantage of this trend and make money playing. Most, who play, however, do not win over the long haul.

The author believes that many who are currently losers could be winners with just a little more knowledge and understanding of the game. This book's primary purpose is to provide direction in an effort to allow those with little winning knowledge to get out of the losing category and make it possible for them to glean the knowledge to become a winning Hold'em player.

Winning playing Hold'em is not all luck. There is no doubt about what it takes is skill. And in order to acquire that skill, a thorough knowledge of the game is necessary. A Professional Perspective on Hold'em Poker is a self-help book geared towards improving Hold'em Poker strategies while valuing and allowing one's personal tactics to be used and developed.
