Anita Torabi, Ph.D., observes that human emotions- happy, sad, worried and excited- depend on what happens in a person's life. Torabi asks this question: "Is it worth it going through all of the ups and downs to get somewhere in our life that does not make us completely satisfied?"

In "What Really Matters?" (published by Balboa Press), Torabi challenges readers to answer this fundamental question, which is the title of the book. This book allows readers to non-judgmentally revisit one's life in order to improve it. It is written in a simple language and brief manner that people would be able to read it until the last page.

"I want them to know that they can make a choice to have a peaceful and enjoyable life regardless what goes around them. I want them to know that no one in this world can take their internal peace and freedom away unless they let them to do so," the author tells.

"What Really Matters?" challenges us to ask ourselves if one has a forgotten passion that is burning inside him or her, a love toward anything in this world that can take us to a higher level of energy and eagerness. "Finding this passion set us free of fear to live a meaningful life."

An excerpt from this book:
Life is so delicate, do not force it. Let your life lead you before it teaches you.
