Angeles Samper Releases WOODEN LEG DUCKLING

Author Angeles Samper professes her love for animals. This love prompted her to write "Wooden Leg Duckling," (published by Xlibris) a picture book that brings out one's fighting spirit as well as the goodness and faith in one's own effort.

This book tells the story of a little duckling that was born without a leg. Because of his physical disability, the farmer asked permission from the mom duck to put a wooden leg on the little duck. When he did, the little duck began to walk, although with slow steps. Will this little duck overcome his obstacles and become a beautiful duck?

"This book will appeal to readers because the little duckling featured in it shows courage and determination despite his disability," Samper says. "I believe it is necessary to tell our children that there are many beautiful things to do through peaceful means and not through fighting."

Her own imagination and love of life inspired Samper in publishing "Wooden Leg Duckling." She hopes children will enjoy this book as much as she enjoyed writing it.
