NEW YORK - Mermaids have been one of the utmost stunning fictional creatures that Amanda Laureano admired all her life. Mermaids and Sirens have been thought about in many sort of ways, so she figured why not create a love story and the result of which is "Sirena," (published by Xlibris) a romantic story with a dash of suspense and tender intimacy.

This book tells the story of a mermaid who looks outstandingly beautiful with periwinkle eyes and teal colored hair. She is an orphan who lives with a pod of sirens that enjoy eating human flesh. But Sirena is of a different kind. She only eats seafood and watches Josh Hanks, a particular mortal on the beach. Her siren sisters try to make her prey on him, but she is secretly in love with him and she knows that hunting him is not her way. They fall in love with each other but their love comes with never-ending complications.

"I believe this book will appeal to many readers because mermaids and sirens are visualized differently," says Laureano. "The passion is worth struggling for even drowning for. This novel also forms a realm for readers to plummet themselves into."

An enchanting and entertaining read, "Sirena" is a romantic fictional novel that will remind readers that even through the foulest difficulties, love and family concurs all.
