Pleasant Hill, Calif.
Even after author Alexandra De Avalon's 6-year-old son, David, was killed in an automobile accident, she felt his presence. In the new book "Dreaming with God: A Journey from Grief to the Divine" (published by Balboa Press), De Avalon shares the spiritual journey she embarked upon on that fateful August day in 1992.
"Unexpected deaths leave families devastated," De Avalon says. "My book offers a healing way to deal with these situations."
De Avalon candidly shares her own grief over the loss of her son and her search for a spiritual way to heal. She explains the help it was to know, through the communications from David, that he would never truly be gone.
David's communications started almost immediately after his transition, De Avalon says. Through his communications he has let his mother know where he is, God's plans for him and how to help their family.
