The book tells the story of Fourmi, an ant who has trouble with being a real ant. He feels as if he is not a real ant because all ants must pass a series of tests before they can graduate from ant school and get jobs, but Fourmi has failed them twice. If Fourmi does not pass these tests in time, he will be banished to the grass. So Fourmi’s mom takes him to Dr. Terapeut, a therapist who helps him through his difficulties and tells him that he can pass his tests.

“My book was written to empower the youth with encouraging messages that teach them to never give up,” Kakumanu says. “Through this story, I want readers to understand that things are not always going to be easy, but no matter what, as long as you try your hardest, things will always turn out ok.”
