Many people have deep rooted insecurities. This realization led radio personality, Terry E. Lyle to write her latest book, "INSANE."

"INSANE" is a collection of short stories and poems about issues that impact all generations. The book takes an open minded and nontraditional stance on topics such as religion, money, race and sexual encounters.

"Whether someone is poor, rich, black or white, we all deal with similar issues at some point in our lives," Lyle said. "My book is about honest emotions and scenarios. It's a source of entertainment, but it's also a source of reflection and healing."

Weaving life lessons through poetry, the book provides poignant social commentary about the ramifications our decisions and our social responsibilities. Lyle writes about subjects that many consider taboo in the hopes that she will be able to shed light on hidden aspects of today's culture.

"I want to be honest and refreshing," Lyle said. I truly believe that there is something for everyone in this collection of real-talk dialog."
