A.S. Breslauer Shares SECOND ACTS

When a famous musician loses his ability to compose after brain surgery, he must adjust to his new life in A.S. Breslauer's "Second Acts: A Novel" (published by iUniverse). The author has launched a new marketing push for the book.

Inspired by the life and early death of legendary composer George Gershwin, Breslauer writes about Jason Gilbert, a composer who undergoes brain surgery for debilitating headaches and loses his ability to compose. Realizing his plight, Gilbert searches for a new life and finds himself in Paris, a place where he once had musical triumphs, but now gets caught up in an escapade with famous journalists, Soviet secret police, an attractive divorcee and desperate musicians.

About the Author
A.S. Breslauer was born in New York City and was educated in the public school system and at New York University. Breslauer, currently living in New York City, is a career journalist who worked for many years at the Munich-based anticommunist broadcasting station, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty.
