What if a woman had written the Bible or religious leaders were mainly women?

AJ Whiting's first book "A View of the Bible through Mascaraed Lashes" is an inspirational, women-centric look at Christianity. Whiting examines the Bible in order to give women a better understanding of God's true message.

This book is written from a female perspective and helps establish a place in the church where females can feel empowered.

"In a seemingly male-dominated hierarchy of faith, the big guy upstairs has always included the female gender in his modus operandi, never to be shunned by the gender that seems to be more at a loss of words, less likely to attempt deeds that go unrewarded and has more alpha issues than a bowl of alphabet soup," Whiting said.

Whiting was able to strip away gender bias and inspire women from all backgrounds to break out of the traditional masculine cycle touted by many Christian sects.

"I am well aware it was placed on my heart to present female key characters in God's Biblical plot," Whiting said.
