After escaping a dysfunctional family and marrying her high school sweetheart, Sandra Stacey Rivero learned how Satan can wreak havoc in individual lives. The confession of a long-held secret led Rivero in search of her stepson, a boy estranged to her for almost 30 years and whose name she did not know.

"For 28 years I never knew my stepson existed," says Rivero. "When I was told of him, I loved him and had to locate him. I prayed to God for ways to find him, and God gave me answers."

Sandra Stacey Rivero is a woman who has committed her life to following God's Word through scripture and active participation in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Her talent for writing was first realized in elementary school, where she wrote short stories as English composition assignments. Joining the Church in 1984 and keeping family journals helped her blossom as an author. She attended the Phoenix Academy of Beauty Culture and worked as both a hairdresser and wig stylist before retiring.
