"Lifestyle Is Driving Us Toward Impending Demise" and what goes up must come down, especially the general body mass index of American citizens and their uncontrolled calorie intake. It is a troubling lifestyle which is a part of a society that allows excessive consumption by its citizens-and the narcissistic neuroticism and dishonesty that are the result. In his new book, author A. Cyrus Tahernia improves, innovates and lays out a close to complete groundwork with which readers can point their lives back to "healthy," "fit," and "truly happy."

Cyrus Tahernia, despite everything, is not yet ready to give up on the American republic. His book comprises a total of 15 up-to-date chapters - plus a prologue, epilogue, and appendix - outlines a widespread American lifestyle and its undercurrent of deathwish, inadvertent or not. Tahernia discusses many important and contemporary hot topics such as obesity, dietary regimen, exercise, the healthcare system, texting while driving, immigration, and airport dilemmas. He goes further and takes a look into some physical and psychological conditions that accompany the lifestyle - apathy, irresponsibility, lying, insomnia, fear-mongering, restlessness and anxiety, and addictions to sex and money.

Although Tahernia's book title is pessimistic, the lifestyle claims a gruesome number of casualties and victims which seem to barely affect the American careen to its impending demise. "Lifestyle Is Driving Us toward Impending Demise" paints an unflattering portrait of excess that, if thought over logically, as the author does, requires only some moderation and wise discipline to solve. Tahernia takes the pulse of the American public, and knows its precise concerns - and he makes a useful and sane program back to a "healthy lifestyle" flogged by advertising but seldom practiced by any but its more dedicated models.
