Tige Charity, founder and executive director for the Los Angeles based non-profit organization, Kids in the Spotlight, Inc., will be in Baton Rouge, LA for the signing of her new book, "Not Your 9-to-5 Girl," an inspirational journey from being an employee to an employer by learning the meaning of Purpose. Charity's organization, Kids in the Spotlight, provides a platform for kids in foster care to tell their stories, their way, through filmmaking.
"Not Your 9-to-5 Girl" was written to raise awareness and resources for Charity's aspirations of creating a performing arts boarding academy for foster youth; an educational and residential space that will give them the stability and permanency they need for success. "Not Your 9-to-5 Girl" takes you on a candid, emotional and inspiring journey of how rejection, insecurity, and fear lead her to discovering her purpose.
