Cathy Taylor is an award winning mixed media artist and popular workshop instructor. Her artwork is a celebration of the patterns, textures, and color found in the natural environment. Cathy is known for her ability to interpret a subject in a variety of styles. From her colorful detailed alphabetical designs, including the Florida shell alphabet, to her whimsical collages and multidimensional abstracts, Cathy's work is represented in galleries, museums, nature centers and private collections throughout the U.S. and abroad. Cathy's articles have appeared in Cloth, Paper, Scissors magazine. She is a featured artist on artacademylive.com and Cheap Joe's Art Stuff YouTube Page.
