Theatre Plus Presesnts SWEET TOOTH, 2/4-2/20

Theatre Plus will present the world premiere of Sweet Tooth by Mark Wild, February 4-20, 2010. The new comedy was selected as one of only three Finalists in the 2008 Maxim Mazumdar New Play Competition and will be directed by Lorna C. Hill. The show will play at Alleyway Theatre in Buffalo's Historic Theatre District. Sweet Tooth is the third production of Theatre Plus' fourteenth season dedicated to presenting theatre that focuses on the talents and interests of women.

A compulsion for painstaking research overwhelms the life of a young grad student as she negotiates the mine fields of love, friendship, career and dental hygiene. has a fast paced, unorthodox style that puts laughing gas to shame.

Playwright Mark Wild was born and raised in San Francisco. He now lives in Los Angeles, where he teaches history and visits the dentist regularly. He has been writing plays for almost a decade and is a proud member of the LA Writers Center.

The cast of Sweet Tooth includes Andrea Andolina, Christopher S. Parada and Dayatra Hassan.
 
Tickets range in price from $13-$25 and can be purchased via alleyway.com or purchased at the box office 30 minutes before each performance.
