Theatre Plus will present the world premiere of Sweet Tooth by Mark Wild, February 4-20, 2010. The new comedy was selected as one of only three Finalists in the 2008 Maxim Mazumdar New Play Competition and will be directed by Lorna C. Hill. The show will play at Alleyway Theatre in Buffalo's Historic Theatre District. Sweet Tooth is the third production of Theatre Plus' fourteenth season dedicated to presenting theatre that focuses on the talents and interests of women.

Playwright Mark Wild was born and raised in San Francisco. He now lives in Los Angeles, where he teaches history and visits the dentist regularly. He has been writing plays for almost a decade and is a proud member of the LA Writers Center.Theatre Plus seeks to produce plays about women and their experiences, works by women, plays traditionally performed by men but reinterpreted for women, and works which redefine the roles of women and men in such a way as to empower both. Theatre Plus provides opportunities for the development of women directors, playwrights, producers, technicians, and performers, and is committed to presenting the diversity of women artists by showcasing works by women songwriters, poets and fine artists.
