The Kavinoky Theatre, a professional theatre on the campus of D'Youville College, continues its 37th season with the production of A View From The Bridge by Arthur Miller.
The giant of the American theatre remains without question Arthur Miller, who devoted his career to forging the tragedy of the common man- A View From The Bridge is such a tragedy. Miller wrote his play after hearing a longshoreman's true tale of an honorable man ruined by an obsession to which he himself was blind.
The story of a dock worker whose code of honor depends on protecting migrants, is as relevant today as it was when it was written more than 50 years ago. Director Robert Waterhouse has assembled a cast of some of Buffalo's finest actors for this telling of a true American classic which includes John Fredo, Debbie Pappas Sham, Adriano Gato, Peter Palmisano, John Kreuzer, Adam Yellen, David Lundy and Renee Landrigan.
