STAGEWORKS (Rochester, NY) proudly presents the Regional Premiere of BONNIE & CLYDE, the exciting story of the infamous outlaws. This thrilling musical will entertain all with its non-traditional score by Frank Wildhorn (Jekyll & Hyde, Dracula), featuring musical styles ranging from blues to gospel to rockabilly. At the height of the Great Depression, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow went from two small-town nobodies in West Texas to America's most renowned folk heroes and the Texas law enforcement's worst nightmares. Fearless, shameless, and alluring, their electrifying story of love, adventure and crime captured the excited attention of an entire country.
BONNIE & CLYDE will be performed Friday, July 11 at 7:30 PM, Saturday, July 12 at 7:30 PM and Sunday, July 13 at 2:00 PM. All performances are at the Thomas F. Bell Auditorium, Aquinas Institute, 1127 Dewey Avenue Rochester, NY (free on-site parking).
Tickets are $12 and $10 (students and senior citizens) in advance and $14 and $12 (students and senior citizens) at the door.
A reception will follow the opening night performance on July 11 and is open to media and opening night audience members. It will be a fully catered event with refreshments, wine tastings, music and dancing and more!
