Shea's Performing Arts Center has announced the 2020 - 21 Season at Shea's Smith Theatre featuring Buffalo-based Second Generation Theatre and O'Connell & Company. The Smith 2020-21 season includes musical favorites, a regional premiere, and great comedies.
The Second Generation Theatre (SGT) season will include the compelling romantic drama Constellations, the musical revue Songs for a New World, and the regional premiere of the musical The Secret Garden.
The O'Connell & Company season features a season full of laughs with Nunsensations A-Men!, SUDS: The Rocking 60's Musical Soap Opera, and the original award-winning hit Betsy Carmichael's Bingo Palace.
"Having a full season at the Shea's Smith Theatre with established local companies is a true testament to the resurgence we are seeing in our city," said Murphy. "The next season at the Smith has something for everyone and is providing more opportunities for patrons to experience live entertainment in the heart of the Buffalo's Theatre District."

The Shea's Buffalo Theatre was originally built as a "picture palace" by Michael Shea in 1925.
