Next up, Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) will present 1983 Pulitzer Prize-finalist for Drama, Sam Shepard's True West, October 28 - November 20 at the Road Less Traveled Theater.

The production will star David Mitchell, Matt Witten, Robert Rutland, and Tina Rausa under the direction of Scott Behrend. Phala Data is proud to sponsor True West this season on the Road Less Traveled.

Forty miles south of Los Angeles in their mother's suburban kitchen, estranged brothers square off over shared demons, daddy issues, and divergent ideas of the American Dream. Austin, a squeaky-clean family man, battles to retain control of his screenplay when his violent, thieving brother Lee crashes in with an audacious scheme to raid the neighborhood. The fraternal feud heats up after a Hollywood producer pits brother against brother, bringing sibling rivalry to violent and often absurd extremes in Sam Shepard's acerbic black comedy.

True West opens Friday, October 28 and runs through Sunday, November 20, at the Road Less Traveled Theater at 500 Pearl Street. Regular performance times are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30PM and Sunday at 2:00PM. Tickets are $35 general admission. Mighty Taco Student Thursdays will now be extended to four weeks, dates: October 28, November 3, 10, 17. Tickets can be ordered online at www.roadlesstraveledproductions.org, by calling the RLTP Box Office at (716) 629-3069, or by visiting the Box Office during the 30 minutes prior to any performance. Advance purchase is suggested.
