Road Less Traveled Productions and Shea's 710 Theatre present one of the most-produced plays in the United States: "Almost, Maine" -a whimsical series of nine vignettes about love in a snow-covered town.
Actors Eve Everette, Wendy Hall, John Kreuzer, and Nicholas Lama play the 20 residents of the fictional town of Almost, Maine, an off-the-map location that's as enchanting as its charm-filled characters. Some vignettes are silly, others are somber, but all transport audiences to a dreamlike place beneath the northern lights where love drifts along like snowflakes in the wintry air.
Directed by Doug Weyand with artistic direction by Scott Behrend, the production boasts a creative team that includes Hasheen DeBerry (Production Manager), Jon Elston (Literary Director), Gina Gandolfo (RLTP Managing Director), Lou Iannone (Technical Director), Katie Mallinson (Dramaturg), Katie Menke (Sound Designer), Emily Powrie (Props Master, Associate Set Designer), Maura Price (Costume Designer, Wardrobe), and John Rickus (Light Designer).
"Almost, Maine" runs from Feb. 14 to 17, with two performances added Feb. 23 and 24. A special student offer of $20 tickets is available for all performances.
