Shea's Performing Arts Center was abuzz as President Anthony Conte and Producer Albert Nocciolino announced the 2013-14 season Thursday evening in front of a crowd of thrilled season ticket holders in the historic downtown theatre. The new season will kick off on October 15 with a fantastic, entertaining lineup! GHOST THE MUSICAL kicks off the season on October 15; War Horse; Dr. Seuss' HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS! THE MUSICAL; THE GERSHWINS' PORGY AND BESS, winner of the 2012 Tony Award for best revival of a musical; the smash-hit musical ONCE, that was the recipient of eight Tony Awards; and the must-see EVITA to close out the Broadway season. For special engagements, the popular Neglia Ballet production of THE NUTCRACKER will appear again in November, fan favorite WICKED will fly back into town and will play a three-week run in January 2014, and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will return in late April of 2014. GHOST The Musical breathes glorious new life into a timeless love story.
