MusicalFare to Stage Regional Premiere of RING OF FIRE

MusicalFare Theatre, Western New York's most awarded and only professional musical theatre company, presents the 3rd production of its 2015-2016 Season, RING OF FIRE: THE MUSIC OF JOHNNY CASH.

From the opening chords of vintage country music and onward to rockabilly, rock n' roll, searing ballads and gentle songs of love and deep faith, RING OF FIRE packs a score that provides a rich fabric in which to lay down the story of Johnny Cash. RING OF FIRE gives the music the spotlight, as a core group of talented actor/musicians celebrate the songs of Johnny Cash that are such a part of our collective experience.


The MusicalFare cast includes Katie Clark, Steve Copps, Kevin Craig, Philip Farugia, Bob Mazierski, Theresa Quinn, Zak Ward & Maggie Zindle.


Set Design is by Chris Schenk, Lighting & Sound Design is by Chris Cavanagh, Costume Design is by Kari Drozd and Hair, Wig and Makeup Design is by Susan Drozd.


The performance schedule is January 27th - February 28th, Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00pm, Friday at 8:00pm, Saturday at 4:00pm and 8:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm. There will be a special "half-price preview" on Tuesday, January 26th at 7:00pm. Meet-the-cast talkbacks take place after all Wednesday performances EXCEPT opening night, January 27th.

MusicalFare Theatre is a professional musical theatre company in residence at, but independently operated from, Daemen College. MusicalFare Theatre is located at 4380 Main Street in Amherst, NY (between Harlem and Getzville Roads). Parking is FREE, and the theatre is handicapped accessible, complete with a hearing-impaired system.
