MusicalFare Theatre Announces OnStage Seating for RENT

MusicalFare Theatre, Western New York's most awarded and only professional musical theatre company, announces that there will be LIMITED ONSTAGE SEATING AVAILABLE DURING THE RUN OF RENT!

Following the tradition of the Broadway and Touring productions, MusicalFare will sell FOUR (4) ONSTAGE SEATS via a lottery for each performance of RENT. The tickets will be $10.
Names will be collected in the lobby prior to the show, beginning 1 hour before showtime. Random recipients will be drawn from the lottery pool 15 minutes before showtime. Anyone whose name is not chosen may purchase regular price tickets ($15 students/$39 general), pending availability. Please note that when signing up, patrons may do so as a single patron (one seat) or as a couple (two seats). Patrons may not sign up for more than 2 seats.

It's an all new look at Jonathan Larson's Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning musical. With its music stripped down to its essence and played by actors in a deliberate departure from the over amplified arena style performances that earned the show the nickname Rant, this production of RENT promises to bring the compelling story to audiences in a whole new way.

The performance schedule is January 23rd - March 3rd , Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00pm, Friday at 8:00pm, Saturday at 4:00pm and 8:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm. There will be a special "half-price preview" on Tuesday, January 22nd at 7:00pm. Meet-the-cast talkbacks take place after all Wednesday performances EXCEPT opening night, January 23rd.
