A 21st century Cinderella story for the young, the old, and those who find their way without a dress, a castle or a prince!

A World Premiere musical from Buffalo native Marisa Guida, Buffalonian Philip Farugia and MusicalFare! A coming of age story inspired by the life and work of comedienne, Imogene Coca. Mom gets a promotion, Dad gets fired and their pre-pubescent daughter, Genny, is being picked on at school. With Imogene's help, Genny learns how to be herself, make a best friend and learn about the true meaning of beauty.

The production stars Brittany Noel Bassett, Leah Berst, Nicole Marrale Cimato, Louis Colaiacovo, Arin Lee Dandes, Rheanna Gallego, Amy Jakiel, Marc Sacco, Dan Urtz and Michael Wachowiak. Set Design is by Chris Schenk, Lighting & Sound Design is by Chris Cavanagh, Costume Design is by Kari Drozd and Hair, Wig and Make-up Design is by Susan Drozd.

The performance schedule is July 12th - August 13th, Wednesday at 7:00pm, Thursday at 7:00pm, Friday at 7:30pm, Saturday at 3:30pm & 7:30pm, Sunday at 2pm. There will be a special "half-price preview" on Tuesday, July 11th at 7:00pm. Meet-the-cast talkbacks take place after all Wednesday performances EXCEPT opening night, July 12th.

Ticket prices: General Admission - $43. Students - $16. Group rates available. Ticket reservations may be made by calling 716-839-8540 or online at www.musicalfare.com. All seating is assigned. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and checks are accepted.

MusicalFare Theatre is a professional musical theatre company in residence at, but independently operated from, Daemen College. MusicalFare Theatre is located at 4380 Main Street in Amherst, NY (between Harlem and Getzville Roads). Parking is FREE, and the theatre is handicapped accessible.
