Crossroad Blues, a world premiere from MusicalFare, features some of the greatest Blues music of the 20th century. Crossroad Blues tells the story of a father attempting to reconcile his relationship with his estranged son.

The cast includes local blues singer Billy McEwen (1989 Buffalo Music Hall of Fame Inductee 1989), Sharon Bailey (Buffalo Music Award Top R&B vocalist 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2005), r&b singer and MusicalFare favorite Terrie George, George Brown and Don Hunley. It is directed by Richard Satterwhite with a book by Randall Kramer based on a story by Jim Runfola and Mr. Kramer. Jim Runfola is leading a 5 piece onstage band and creating all of the music arrangements.

Crossroad Blues debuts January 6 and runs through February 7, 2010. Performances run Wednesdays at 7pm, Thursdays at 7:30pm, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 4pm & 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.

Tickets range in price from $32-$36 and can be purchased online at www.musicalfare.com, in person or by calling 839-8540. Box Office hours are Tuesday - Friday, 10am-4pm.

There will be a Half-Price Prevue on Tuesday, January 5th and there will be "meet the cast" talkbacks after every Wednesday performance, excluding opening night, January 6th.
