The Kavinoky Theatre, a professional theatre on the campus of D'Youville College, completes its 38th season with its production of The Foreigner by Larry Shue.
When Froggy brings his pathologically shy friend Charlie to a fishing lodge, he has the perfect solution-just tell everyone Charlie doesn't speak English! Once the guests think he doesn't understand a word they say, things start to go awry, and Charlie suddenly finds himself privy to everyone's secrets-including a conspiracy to take over the lodge. Wickedly funny, The Foreigner has become one of the most celebrated comedies of all time. Director David Oliver has assembled a cast of some of Buffalo's finest and funniest actors, including Kevin Craig, Patrick Moltane, Aleks Malejs, Christopher Evans, Anne Gayley, David Mitchell and Dan Urtz. Tickets for The Foreigner are available by phone at (716) 829-7668 and online at KavinokyTheatre.com.
