Road Less Traveled Productions has announced its 2017/18 Season to Buffalo theatergoers! Featuring five full regular season theatrical productions, this season will include Western New York premieres of work never before produced in the Buffalo area.

RLTP's 14th season will include:

JOHN
WNY-Premiere by Annie Baker
September 8 - October 1, 2017
A young couple, struggling with their future, arrives at a mysterious B&B in Gettysburg, PA--one brimming with watchful objects, where certain rooms are not to be entered and certain things are better left unsaid. Annie Baker (Circle Mirror Transformation, Pulitzer Prize-winner for The Flick) flirts with the supernatural in her latest work, a reflection on what we know and what we think we know, on strained connection and pervasive loneliness, on what we carry with us and what we leave behind.

GLENGarry Glenn ROSS
By David Mamet
October 27 - November 19, 2017
What is the worth of a man? David Mamet turns Death of a Salesman into The Hunger Games of Chicago real estate: 1st Prize-a Cadillac, 2nd Prize-a set of steak knives, 3rd Prize-you're fired! A masterpiece of modern American drama, this fast-paced, scalding tragedy is as tense, tight, and devastatingly hilarious as the day it was written. RLTP's peerless ensemble delivers a production that seems uniquely relevant in this inaugural year, 2017...

THE NETHER
WNY-Premiere by Jennifer Haley
January 19 - February 11, 2018
Sometime in the near future, the Internet has evolved into the "Nether", a place where gender, age, identity, and truth are malleable, and your darkest desires and fears are all-too-obtainable. Winner of the 2012 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize for drama, The Nether is a mystery/crime drama where even thoughts are actions, and every action has a real-world consequence...

DISGRACED
WNY-Premiere by Ayad Akhtar
March 9 - 31, 2018
Amir Kapoor, a breath away from making partner in his NYC law firm, is living the "American Dream". That dream, however, could come crashing down after Amir and his wife Emily host a dinner party for co-workers at their upscale Manhattan apartment, and find it's their actions and intentions on the menu instead. Winner of the 2013 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this daring, explosive play questions our perception of identity and religion in a fractured 21st Century America.

THE CHRISTIANS
WNY-Premiere by Lucas Hnath
April 27 - May 20, 2018
Today, Pastor Paul will reveal his honest belief that Hell does not exist. Today, his friend and associate Pastor Joshua will publicly oppose him-splitting our parish and dividing its families. Today, each of us will bear witness to their debate, forced to decide what we believe to be true, what we need to be true.
