Every Christmas, it's like the same gift Aunt Phylis gives you: Christmas Carol, The Nutcracker or Miracle on 34th Street predictably appear on the boards for the Holiday season. Make this season an alternative to the same old "gift". The Fearless Players, known for their highly entertaining GONG SHOW, is bringing the highly irreverent Holiday piece THE EIGHT: REINDEER MONOLOGUES to American Repertory Theater of WNY's newly created performance space, ART in the Box, located at 16 Linwood Avenue, Buffalo NY 14209. The production opens December 12th and runs to December 21st with all showtimes at 7:30 pm. Ticket prices for this spicy cup of eggnog begin at $20 General Admission, a special online ticket price of $15 and $12 for students and military veterans.

Buyer beware; this production has adult subject matter, language, and is not for children because it could possibly shoot an eye out.

THE EIGHT: REINDEER MONOLOGUES finds TV talk-show host Jack Frost has discovered a naughty rumor circulating from the North Pole and it doesn't involve why Rudolf has a red-nose. He needs to get to the bottom of this and invites Santa's elite sled team onto his talk-show to discuss and reveal what they know. According to the "The Eight", Santa is on the VERY naughty list., and, if the rumors are to be believed, Santa's nasty side for hanky panky must be stopped before his "ho, ho. ho" has another meaning.

Making his directorial debut Todd Fuller leads a talented cast in this unorthodox Holiday story of rumors, mistruths and a whole lotta fruit in the cake. "The entire cast has been incredible. I could not have been luckier as a first time director than landing this cast."Said Fuller. It's a hilarious night of celebrating the holidays but in a very twisted way. The actors have been putting in so much work and what they're bringing to the table is beautiful."
