The Theatre of Youth in Buffalo, NY continues its 2010 season with THE LION, THE WITCH & THE WARDROBE based on the books by C.S. Lewis. Opening night is January 29 at 7pm. Shows will be performed Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm on January 31, 31, February 6, 7, 13, and 14.

THE LION, THE WITCH & THE WARDROBE takes Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie through a magical wardrobe into the fantasy world of Narnia. Narnia was once a peaceful land of Dwarfs, Fauns, Giants, and Talking Beasts. It has been frozen into winter for over 100 years by the evil White Witch. Destined to fulfill an ancient prophecy, the Pevensie children must defeat the witch, restore peace and sunshine to Narnia, and return Aslan, the King of Beasts, to his throne.
The show is recommended for ages 7 and up.

Next is AMELIA EARHART, which follows the charismatic aviator and remarkable woman from her first sight of an airplane at the age of ten to the last radio transmission she made before she and her plane vanished in 1937. The ever-fascinating story of the legendary pilot is a marvelous way to inspire children to find their passion, envision the future, and fly!

Opening night is March 26 at 7pm with performances on Saturdays and Sundays at 2pm on March 27, 28, April 10, and 11.
