In keeping with the company's mission statement of promoting and fostering an environment for regional playwrights, American Rep Theater of WNY will be presenting a one-night only reading of Mark Humphrey's ROOMMATES at ART in the Box, 16 Linwood Avenue, Buffalo NY 14209, 7:30 pm. This event is free to the public with an opportunity to discuss the work with Mr. Humphrey after the reading.

In a story in which one unfortunate soul owes money to a guy who one shouldn't owe money to, finds himself facing the task of paying his debt. Featuring ART/WNY alumni Victor Morales, ROOMMATES demonstrates playwright Mark Humphrey masterful talent of weaving dialog and intrigue to his scripts. With the outstanding versatile talents of Stan Klimecko and the veteran acting swagger of Tom Zindle, the evening is bound to be a showcase of fine Buffalo dramatic arts talent.

Mark Humphrey has been an active contributor to ART/WNY stages with several original works including two one-acts (LEAVING BOYLETOWN and MECHANIC) for the Local Playwrights Showcase as well as the 2014 Artie Award winning full-length production of LITTLE ROBERT. Mark is also known for his one-man work MR BENNY that has seen productions from NYC to Chicago.

Showtime for the evening is 7:30 pm with the event being free to the public. Those who attend the reading are invited to stay afterwards and chat with the playwright about the work.
