First aired on CBS in 1966, IT'S A GREAT PUMPKIN, CHARLIE BROWN has seen several generations follow Charles M Schultz's beloved Peanuts gang on the evening of Halloween. In this staged adaptation for theater, 'Linus' (played by Ayden Herreid) continues his vigil in a "sincere" pumpkin patch for the arrival by the 'Great Pumpkin'. He is joined by the puppy-love struck 'Sally' (played by Jenna Pilecki) in anticipation of seeing this mythical giver of toys to all good boys and girls on Halloween night. ART/WNY's production will also featured Charlie Brown (Parker Welling) with a bagful of rocks. 'Lucy' (portrayed by Carly Luksch) with all her charm, the World War One flying ace 'Snoop' (featuring Connor Law), with Madalyn Teal as 'Violet', Quinn McGillion as 'Pigpen', and Joe Russi as 'Franklin'. Underscoring music from the Vince Guaraldi Sextet is Justin Lackie (who portrays 'Schroeder').
Don't be a blockhead and miss a chance to revisit a childhood memory or create a new one during this Halloween season.
