Summation Dance’s 4th Annual NYC Season at BAM Fisher

Known for fierce dancing and polished dance making, this all-female troupe makes another major stride in its 4th season with two dance works that showcase the artistic range and versatility of its dancers. Updating Route, Please Standby reflects on the relationship between expectation and reality—and the necessity for an ever-present openness to recalculate our positions in life, while Hunt takes a look at the storied persecution of witches through a feminist lens, asking questions about human nature and our susceptibility to herd mentality.

This evening of dance will transport the audience into two different worlds, each compelling, mysterious and vibrant.
