Have you ever wanted your life to just end?
Olga, Masha & Irina do. Every. Single. Day.
They wish they lived in Moscow but boohoo their late father moved them to the countryside when they were little and now they have to suffer the consequences. They are stuck with their nanny (who is literally nine hundred years old), military boys and other losers.
Life hasn't been easy on them and on top of that some “low class wh**e” is about to marry their brother and take away their estate.
An adaptation of “Three Sisters” by Halley Feiffer coming to Bed-Stuy. Think Chechov x Mean Girls Collab?
Is existential dread inevitable? Will life always be like this? Do you think life is sooooooo different in 2024 than it was in 1900? We'll prove you wrong.
Featuring British Bombshell Dame Elizabeth Shepherd, and directed by New York´s own Joe Goscinski, “Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow” will be playing at Herbert von King Cultural Arts Center from January 17 to 27.
There are plenty of exciting new works in the theater world. Unfortunately, not many people can afford this kind of experience. The vast majority of plays end up only being available to a lucky few, who have the privilege and the means to attend them.
This group of professional actors and artists wants to bring theater to the community. Theater that is modern, that speaks to the current zeitgeist and that is accessible to all, without losing the production quality on the way.
They’re committed not only to telling stories, but telling them as extravagantly as they can.
The set designer Stephen Phelps is an established filmmaker, who helped create the visual worlds for the majority of New York underground auteurs such as The Safdie brothers, Sean Baker, Alex Ross-Perry and Sean Price Williams.
