A dead fighting fish and a bout of scabies incite revenge in Mark O’Rowe’s 1999 play, inspired by Samuel Beckett’s novel Molloy, chronicling the cat-and-mouse travails of the Howie Lee and the Rookie Lee[1] (no relation) through a down-and-out Dublin. Tom Vaughan-Lawlor (Love/Hate) gives a visceral, full-throated performance as both characters, with only a change of t-shirt in between.
