Hakanaï at BAM Fisher

Tracing arcing parabolas and sine waves with hands, arms, and feet, a single dancer transforms a movement-responsive environment into a web of interconnecting lines, points, angles, and curves. Students are presented with a kind of living, breathing graphing calculator in this performance that adds a human element to abstract concepts. Some students will be selected to explore the installation after the performance.
