WATERWORKS: A Comedy Show About Crying Comes to Brooklyn Art Library ImageWaterworks is hosted by Nathan Galovan and directed/produced by D. Arthur. Waterworks is a show for funny people to share moments in their lives when tears were involved. The sharing can be by any means of their choice- storytelling/stand-up, sketch, song, powerpoint presentation, interactive experience, interpretive dance, anything they like. This big-hearted show promises lots of laughs, and maybe, just maybe, a few tears.

We're excited about this show as an opportunity to bring a more earnest approach to comedy, as well as a fun and light way to unpack topics like toxic masculinity and normalizing expressing our freaking feelings.

Below are the details for our debut show, and attached are the promo images.
The line-up for the first show includes Walter Kelly (SPACE: A Queer Comedy Experience), Caitlin Dullea (Annoyance NY, Dr. Phone at Three's Brewing), Tim Platt (Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Sesame Street), Charlie Bardey (Stacy, 'SUP Showcase), and Dara Katz (IFC Comedy Crib's The Place We Live).
Nathan Galovan, our dear host, is a friendly comedy guy from California. He has performed at the Annoyance NY, performed and written for the Friendship Comedy Collective, and currently can be found at the bi-weekly improv show Dr. Phone & Friends at Three's Brewing in Greenpoint.
