Join Treehouse Shakers, an award-winning dance and theater company, with their newest dance-play, Under the Tangle. Under the Tangle takes family audiences on a theatrical journey that is filled with surprise, wonder and discovery.

Visually Vibrant, Under the Tangle, is the original dance-play about an adolescent girl who becomes ensnarled in a labyrinth after the sudden loss of her parents. Throughout her journey, she twists along the brambling pathways being confronted with obstacles, finding numerous clues and meeting many unusual characters: a flock of birds, the daunting labyrinth guards, and the Queen of the Lost perched upon a grim tower. As a metaphor for adolescence, this visual and artistic adventure is a journey of obstacles, relationships, and discoveries, which strengthen the heroine's character, and eventually set her free from the labyrinth. Under the Tangle is a performance must-see to be enjoyed and delighted by the adventurer in us all.

Choreographed and directed by Emily Bunning, featuring Ashley Chavonne, Ashley Ervin, Trey Mitchell, Katie Montoya and Miranda Wilson. Music by Martyn Axe. Costumes by Patti Gilstrap. Scenic design by Ioannis Sochorakis. Lighting by Joshua Rose.
